When he first began at S.N.L. he was mainly a writer who appeared occasionally. When they noticed that he was excellent on camera he became a regular player and was by far the most popular. A viewer has dubbed him as the most talentless, juvenile, and most offensive member of the cast. So I guess he is has good start! Something that also got him popular on S.N.L. were his characters.
